Earning your subscribers' real trust can be its own art form. You're a marketer offering free and paid stuff to your subscribers, but why should they buy from you? There are thousands of other choices out there. What is it that keeps them coming back and stay loyal to you? This is a big and diffuse question and almost impossible to answer somewhat specific.
Fortunately, there are some methods and tactics we can use to build trust and strengthen the personal bond to our subscribers and make them more loyal.
I've identified 6 tactics you can take action on right away in this short post.
Consistency in delivering quality content is one thing, but you also have to show them who you are as a person. In order to develop strong relationships it's key to make your personality shine through what you write. So here it goes:
Write Your Own Emails!
Only then can you be genuine and real to your subscribers! This is probably the most important! It’s not hard, just write as YOURSELF. You can’t do much more than that. Which brings us to the second point.
Be yourself when you write your emails. This shows your subscribers that you’re a normal person just like them, and it gets easier for them to relate to you.
We like people we can relate to, we trust the ones we like, and we buy from those we trust.
Give as much as you can away for free, but make sure it's valuable stuff. That amplifies the perception that you want to help them and not scam or spam them.
Often give them more than you say you will. It does not have to be a lot. Maybe just mention an extra good tip in an email for example or an extra bonus that
you didn’t mention in the sales letter.
Make It Easy To Get Out!
Make it easy for your subscribers to unsubscribe. This is another indicator that you're not just after their money, but that you actually are looking to help them.
People want valuable stuff! They don't want to waste their time reading the information they and everybody else already knows! In order to do this, you always have to know what you can deliver to your customers, and that is not an easy task.
Do you know of any other strategies on how you can build real, genuine trust with your subscribers? Feel free to leave a comment! Hope you enjoyed the post.
